Seeing as how my landscape photos have taken a back seat lately and weddings have been all the go I thought a selection of candid, lighter moments of a few weddings I have shot recently might be a nice change. These type of pics are always great to get as they often show a different side to the occasion I feel.
Long time between posts, Been extremely busy with my other job so photos have had to take a back seat lately. I once again had the pleasure of shooting another challenging wedding a couple of weekends ago. Great country affair which looked like it could have gone for a couple of days or more, bloody glad it didn’t. Here are a couple from the day.
I had the pleasure of shooting another wedding last friday and all though it was extremely hot and pretty full on it was great fun. After the pressure of getting all the important stuff I was waiting at the entrance of the reception room and thought I would try something a bit different and break all the rules of exposure and get a shot that really set the first couple to enter apart and might work but may not. The sun was blasting in through the doorway and armed with my trusty sb800 speed flash I stepped up and had a crack. This is the result and I think it came out ok. If nothing else I reckon it’s got impact and I think thats the essence all photos should have. Whadaya think ??
I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding on Saturday and it was great. the weather was on our side and the easy going couple made my job fun. these are a couple of images I spent a bit of time on to give them are bit more class, or I thought so anyway. The wedding venue was Milston Gardens in the Swan Valley.
