Yellow Boat.

Yellow Boat

I spent the weekend in the Dawesville area for the Australia day celebrations. This was a shot quick shot over the estuary on Ozz day with the full moon rising and this yellow boat looked to good not to drop into the shot.

Cape Naturaliste vista.

Cape Naturaliste. google+

This is another image from my South west trip last weekend. Typical scene in the cape naturaliste with beautiful rock formations, flora and overall colours.

Sugar loaf drama.

I spent the weekend down at Busselton attending the ND5 exhibition and workshops, This is one of a few shots I grabbed of Sugarloaf rock and I have tried to create something a little different to the usual approach to shooting this famous photographic destination. I know it’s a popular spot because there were 18 other photographers all having a crack at getting their own shots at the same time as me.

Living Rocks.

My visit to see the rocks was a bit disappointing at first as I thought they would be above the water surface but they were about half a metre under, I used my 10 stop filter to smooth out the water and make the rocks stand out a bit more and create a bit of calm. Lake Clifton is one of only a few places these thrombolites grow.

“Haunted Lighthouse” ?

Last one from Tuesday I promise….. Had to laugh when this when I saw how this turned out.

Boranup Leaves.

This a quick little snap I took while we had a bit of time on the cape to cape run. the thing that drew me to this was the different coloured leaf amongst the others and the fact that it seemed to resist the water that landed on it from previous shower of rain.
