A couple of shots from last weekend in outback WA .
Bamboo Springs, photo says it all really. Great spot in the outback. Click for larger view.
The sunset created some beautiful colour in the gorge we camped in and it was an amazing opportunity to photograph it.
The early morning colours in this area are fantastic and it’s the best time to shoot in the pilbara in my opinion.
Gorges are never easy to photograph with lots of contrasting light most of the time. This shot of Hamersley Gorge in the Karajini N.P worked out quite well. “Click to view large”
Amazing what can be found in seemingly the middle of no where. This is one of my favourite camp sites. ” Click image to view large “
Moon rising over one of my favourite landscapes in the Murchison area.
Had a bit of fun trying different things photographing in this rock tunnel. Not a lot of talent in this part of the world so I had to step up myself.
This was one of my images from my Northern Territory adventures this time last year. We took a heli flight out of the Victoria River roadhouse and flew along the river just before sunset. The Livistona palms growing in the valley were amazing and I have never seen so many in one area as there were here.
