” Around the Alice “

We are camped up in down town Alice springs for the next week or so and the photo opportunities around these parts are just endless. The colour is what it’s all about here and it’s fantastic. There is still water in most of the water ways and the grasses are nice and green.

The first image is of Rainbow valley, 90 kms south of alice on the edge of the Simpson Desert.  The other is good old Simpsons gap.

Capturing some great images Hodgy. Love the colours. I hope to do the same in a week or so, heading to the Flinders Ranges and Lake Eyre.

The Flinders are looking great so I have been told by people that have come from that direction Andrew, Plenty of water around still and the bird life is fantastic. Have a great trip.

Nice shots Hodgey ! It certainly looks like you have been doing some km’s lately 🙂 I like the wide angle effect in the Simpson Gap image.
