Farms in the Avon Valley

Long Hill farm is between Northam and Bolgart. I have driven past this place a thousand times over the years and have often thought it is one spot I should take a few photos of, so last week on my way home from a job I made some time and stopped. It’s a pretty  basic sort of a pic but it’s typical of a lot of old farm entry gates and  I liked the overall concept and the old name plate was still hanging with a couple of rusty old bits of wire which is getting a bit rare these days.

Nice one Pete….really like the colours in the shot, that deep orange and yellow is great with the blue sky.
